A little bit about Porcupine Lizzy

Here with my senses open I explore this being human as best as I know how.
27 years breathing on this earth, I have found myself walking through streets of sweet and sour shades and wandering around towns that offer a ride closer to home.

My Name is Porcupine Lizzy, I found this name inside a top hat that sat on a chair in a dusty old blues bar in Mississippi.

My eyes, my heart and my hands take photographs capturing that which we don't so often see. Faces in nature, the song between puddle and pavement and life just as it is.  Over time I have slowly learnt to shake hands with the images that speak to me.

I spend a great amount of time in my imagination, putting colour, texture, sound and story to that which exists within me.  Sometimes its outlet is through my hands, in their meeting with glass, with ink and paper and other times with dance/movement, painting, drumming and.........exploring the unseen spaces that move between everything.
